The collaboration between the Politicized Practice Research Group and Anarchism Research Group began in 2014 under the banner ‘Critical Citizenship, Activism and Art’. From 2017, the Theatre Activism Research Group (formerly Theatre and Performance)  joined the the interdisciplinary collaboration.  Although the groups are based at Loughborough University, they include – and welcome – other researchers, artists, activist and cultural workers. The aim of this collaborative initiative is to enhance individual and collective research, feeding into existing interests in all clusters. The collaboration initiates projects and operates as a network of mutual support for a range of research-based and practical activities.
