Wednesday 12th November 2014 – 5pm – RADAR Arts Centre
Jen Hoyer, Josh MacPhee, and Greg Mihalko will discuss their experiences in building an “archive-from-below.” Being all volunteer run and largely self-funded, Interference Archive is a unique institution, which is neither credentialized academic research centre or professional political space. Drawing on knowledge and skills developed across the fields of library science, political activism, and contemporary art production, the Interference Archive works to popularize both archives and politics on a community level, as well as activate histories as tools to open up new possibilities for the future.
